Ambr Payments is an innovative international financial services firm building the next generation of payments infrastructure powered by stablecoins. Our group includes a regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, and we are expanding our regulatory footprint across Europe and the UK to deliver cutting-edge digital asset solutions. We are issuing a MiCA-compliant Euro stablecoin as a foundation layer to power payments, institutional DeFi, and RWA settlement across Europe and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

·      Development & Maintenance: Independently develop, test, and maintain high-availability, high-performance backend services.

·      Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers and front-end teams to ensure timely project delivery.

·      System Architecture: Participate in system architecture design, develop deep understanding of business requirements, and conduct relevant technical research.

·      Code Quality: Write high-quality, maintainable code whilst adhering to best practices and team coding standards.

·      Continuous Learning: Stay current with new technologies and industry developments, whilst driving improvements in team technical capabilities.

Essential Experience

·      Banking and Payment Integrations: Hands-on experience developing and maintaining banking channel integrations, particularly SEPA and SEPA Instant through Centrolink.

·      Backend Development: 3+ years of backend development experience with proficiency in at least one of: Python, Golang, Rust, or Node.js, demonstrating good coding habits and style.

Technical Skills

·      APIs & Frameworks: Proficiency with common development frameworks, RESTful API design, and knowledge of protocols such as GraphQL or gRPC.

·      Database Management: Experience with mainstream databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB), including database design and index optimisation.

·      Middleware Technologies: Familiarity with Redis, RabbitMQ, Elasticsearch, and Kafka.

·      Architecture & DevOps: Understanding of microservice architecture design principles and containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) with practical deployment experience.

·      Version Control: Deep understanding of Git workflows and proficiency in Git-based team collaboration.
