Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) / System Operations Manager

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania (Hybrid)

Our group includes a regulated Electronic Money Institution (EMI) licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, and we are expanding our regulatory footprint across Europe and the UK to deliver cutting-edge digital asset solutions. We are issuing a MiCA-compliant Euro stablecoin as a foundation layer to power payments, institutional DeFi, and RWA settlement across Europe and beyond.


Key Responsibilities:

Emergency Response & Incident Management

  • Actively participate in 24/7 on-call rotations
  • Respond promptly to incidents and coordinate troubleshooting efforts
  • Ensure uninterrupted business continuity of our products

Automation & Toolchain Development

  • Develop and maintain automated operational tools for monitoring, alerting, deployment, and rollback processes
  • Implement capacity planning and self-healing mechanisms

System Resilience & Risk Management

  • Conduct regular risk assessments
  • Prepare and execute emergency drills to improve system resilience and team response capabilities


Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields
  • Minimum 2+ years' experience in SRE, DevOps, or related roles


Technical Skills

Core Systems & Scripting

  • Strong familiarity with Linux systems
  • Automation scripting skills in Shell, Python, or equivalent languages

Architecture & Deployment

  • Experience designing, implementing, and managing microservices architectures
  • Hands-on deployment experience with containerisation tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Expertise with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)

Monitoring & Cloud Platforms

  • Proven skills in building proactive monitoring and alerting systems using Prometheus, Grafana
  • Experience with log management tools such as the ELK Stack
  • Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS) and familiarity with cloud-native technologies

Desirable Qualifications

  • Knowledge of MiCA/DORA compliance and relevant regulatory frameworks
  • Experience operating high-concurrency, low-latency systems (trading or payment platforms)


Important Requirements

On-Call Availability: This role requires 24/7 on-call availability. Candidates must be prepared to respond swiftly to emergency issues outside regular working hours.
