For our customer based in Luxembourg - a European Institution, we are looking for an experienced Java Software Engineer.
More specifically, you will be responsible for…
- Developing and maintaining backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Designing and implementing interfaces to process and import market data.
- Applying object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
- Ensuring code quality through test-driven development and test automation.
- Integrating and managing event-driven processes using Kafka.
- Contributing to CI/CD pipelines and release automation.
- Collaborating with project stakeholders and providing technical expertise.
- Strong expertise in Java backend development with Spring Boot.
- Solid experience in object-oriented design and programming.
- Hands-on knowledge of test automation and TDD (Cucumber is a plus).
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Source control and release management with GitHub (or similar tools).
