DevOps Engineer – Eindhoven Area
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join a growing software and systems engineering team focused on building and maintaining robust, automated development environments for mission-critical applications. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives on improving CI/CD processes, enabling cloud-native workflows, and bridging development and operations in a high-tech setting.
About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you’ll play a key role in automating, streamlining, and supporting the software development lifecycle. You’ll work closely with developers, testers, and IT infrastructure teams to ensure fast, secure, and reliable delivery of software solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining and improving CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Bamboo)
- Managing version control systems (Git) and supporting branching strategies
- Writing and maintaining scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, batch) to automate operational tasks
- Implementing configuration management using tools like Ansible
- Supporting infrastructure across Windows-based environments and hybrid cloud setups
- Managing containerized applications and orchestration platforms (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Contributing to automated testing and deployment frameworks
- Collaborating with internal IT and security teams to maintain system integrity and performance
Your Profile
- Strong experience with DevOps tools and workflows in a software development context
- Proficiency with CI/CD tooling, scripting languages, and automation
- Working knowledge of configuration management and infrastructure as code
- Solid understanding of network communication and common protocols
- Familiarity with containerization and hybrid cloud environments
- Experience with Kubernetes or automated testing is a strong plus
- Comfortable working on both technical implementation and incident response
- Fluent in Dutch for collaboration with internal IT and cross-functional teams
