Cloud Engineer

Role: Cloud Engineer

Location: Las Rozas, Madrid (Weekly 1 day onsite)

Task description :

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer, in order to perform the following tasks withing the Public Cloud team, a team in charge of supporting and evolving the Cloud Landing Zones:

• Work closely with the Cloud Engineering Team to design and implement cloudbased solutions, ensuring smooth functioning of cloud infrastructure.

• Assess, improve, and maintain the current cloud monitoring and logging framework across Azure environments, designing and implement strategies for centralized log management, observability, and proactive alerting.

• Automate dashboards, alerting rules, and monitoring configurations for consistent operations.

• Develop and improve automation scripts and pipelines in our environment to enhance the level of automation and decrease the amount of manual activities with the use of Ansible/Terraform/Git/Bash or other solutions.

• Develop new specs, documentation, and participate in the development of technical procedures and user support guides.

• Handle incoming customer inquiries via service desk and find solutions to automate common requests.

• Be onsite at least 1 day per week at Madrid (Las Rozas) office.

This engineer will need to have the following expertise:

• Deep knowledge of cloud core services (resource management and policies, logging, networking, security, storage and IAM) and PaaS services, their operation and configuration options and Blueprint creation.

• Hands-on experience at enterprise level deploying and operating applications using IaaS and PaaS on Microsoft Azure.

• Hands-on experience at enterprise level with Terraform/OpenTofu, Git, Ansible and Azure DevOps/Gitlab is essential.

• Great verbal and written communication skills to collaborate in an international environment. So English is a MUST.

• Strong self -motivation and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

• Experience in working as L2 and L3 support
