Senior Unity Developer (Freelance / Part-Time)

Cubic Frog® Inc. is an indie educational game studio with 60M+ downloads worldwide. We create fun, ethical, and imaginative preschool learning games loved by kids, parents, and teachers. We’re now looking for a Senior Unity Developer to join our team on a freelance part-time basis.

• Develop, optimize, and maintain our 2D educational children’s games in Unity & C#
• Manage builds and publishing for both Apple App Store and Google Play
• Ensure full compliance with store requirements (notifications, ratings, subscriptions, privacy, etc.)
• Use AI tools to accelerate development and streamline workflows
• Collaborate with our small, fast-moving indie team with clear and proactive communication
• Work on-site and remotely as needed, depending on project requirements

• Senior-level expertise in Unity and C#, with a proven track record of shipped mobile games
• Solid experience publishing apps to both App Store and Google Play
• Strong knowledge of subscription-based apps, including in-app purchases and renewals
• Familiarity with notification systems, rating prompts, and all Apple/Google compliance requirements
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
• Comfortable in a small indie studio environment (agile, creative, and learning-driven)
• Passion for educational children’s games and alignment with our values of simplicity, imagination, and fun
• Ability to embrace AI-assisted development for faster, smarter workflows

• Experience with cross-platform optimization
• Knowledge of UI/UX best practices for preschool audiences
• Interest in cross-disciplinary collaboration (design, sound, animation)
