About The Role
As our EMEA People Operations Associate, you will play a key role in supporting employees and building the foundations of our future People Operations Service Center. This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their career to develop skills in HR operations while contributing to a fast-growing, international business.
Responsibilities
- Support employees by answering questions, solving HR issues, and providing friendly and accurate service.
- Help with daily HR tasks in the EMEA People Operations team, such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll input, and absence management (e.g., sickness leave).
- Be the first contact for employees in your region, providing support throughout their time at the company using our HR ticketing system.
- Show managers and employees how to use HR tools and systems.
- Enter and update employee data in Workday and other systems, making sure information is correct and up to date.
- Follow HR procedures and make sure documents are stored properly and securely.
- Handle sensitive employee data carefully and in line with data protection rules.
- Process HR invoices when needed.
- Work with HR colleagues across different teams and countries.
- Stay flexible and open to change as our People Operations function develops and grows.
- Strong written and verbal English (minimum B2 level).
- You don’t need HR experience, but you should have strong admin skills and be comfortable working in a busy environment with different systems and tasks.
- Organized and detail-oriented, you demonstrate empathy and understanding of the needs of employees and external partners.
- Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new systems and processes.
- Have good communication and consulting skills and enjoy collaborating with different teams, countries, and departments
- Comfortable using digital tools (Google Workspace, Microsoft Office); Workday experience is an advantage but not required.
- Interest in developing a career in HR and learning on the job.
- Able to work to deadlines and able to appropriately handle confidential information and store data.
- This is a hybrid role with 1- 2 days a month from our office in Katowice
- This is a full-time (40 hrs/week) position
