Job Title: Senior Technical Project Manager – Cybersecurity

Total Experience Required: 8+ years in Information Technology / Computers / Software

Relevant Experience Required: 5+ years in managing global cybersecurity projects with technical depth

Employment Type: Permanent

Languages Required: Fluent English (German is an advantage)

Location: Poland

Workplace Type: Hybrid – one day per week onsite at client’s office in Warsaw or Gdansk

Visa/Work Authorization Status: Candidates must hold a valid work permit or visa to work in Poland

Work Location: Warsaw & Gdansk, Poland

1. Must be currently based in Poland or
2. Willing to relocate to Poland from anywhere within Europe or the UK
3. Candidates outside Europe/UK unfortunately cannot be considered

Key Responsibilities

• Lead global cybersecurity initiatives across heterogeneous, multi-vendor environments
• Develop detailed project charters outlining scope, objectives, timelines, success metrics, and risk strategies
• Oversee technical implementation of cybersecurity solutions such as SIEM, SOC, IAM, PAM, EDR, DLP, cryptography, CTI, and secure communication protocols
• Manage cybersecurity projects using Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies
• Collaborate with global stakeholders, including business, risk, infrastructure, and vendors, ensuring alignment with strategy and compliance standards
• Translate technical concepts into actionable plans and clear executive updates
• Track project KPIs, risks, interdependencies, and compliance metrics
• Ensure delivery meets regulatory and organizational security standards
• Lead post-project reviews, capturing lessons learned and driving improvements

Essential Skills

• Proven track record of delivering large-scale, cross-functional cybersecurity projects in complex environments
• Strong technical expertise in at least five domains: SIEM/SOC, EDR, IAM/PAM/MFA, cloud security, application security, cryptography/PKI, network/endpoint security, CTI/logging, or email security.
• Strong knowledge of project methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, leadership, and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in uncertain and fast-evolving environments

Optional Skills

• Industry certifications such as PMP, CISSP, CISM, or Prince2
• Knowledge of compliance frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR, HIPAA)
