IF YOU ARE

the one who has:

• Extensive hands-on experience with Azure Cloud services; strong understanding of resource provisioning, networking, and security in Azure.
• Deep experience with Azure Databricks administration (clusters, scaling, job scheduling, monitoring).
• Strong experience with IaC (Terraform or Bicep), managing changes via code, and infrastructure versioning.
• Competence with version control (Git) and implementing CI/CD pipelines for data workloads/infra.
• Familiarity with Spark internals (how compute works, resource allocation, partitioning, memory), to aid in optimizing infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cost management on cloud (spot/preemptible VMs, auto-scaling, rightsizing).
• Strong scripting/automation skills (Python / PowerShell / Bash).
• Experience working with data engineering/analytics teams; understanding of pipeline flows, data dependencies, and common data bottlenecks.

Good to have Databricks or Azure certifications

AND YOU WANT TO

• Become part of a group of experienced and cloud-certified professionals
• Work with an international team of support engineers responsible for all platform operations processes, tools, and resources required to support high availability, on-prem, and cloud-based data platforms
• Monitor processes shared by internal groups and vendors to ensure a comprehensive maintenance process and implement daily reporting
• Facilitate communication across workstreams to ensure satisfaction in troubleshooting and issue resolution
• Manage reliability and availability of data and ensure work according to established benchmarks and standards
• Collaborate with the Data and AI teams to support and innovate on the Data Platforms
• Provide hands-on technical leadership and participate in decision-making
• Participate in the resolution of production issues and lead efforts toward solutions
