Title: Android Engineer

Location: Canada (Remote)
What You'll Do:
- Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern Android development frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, design, and backend engineering, to define and deliver new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and testable code while adhering to best practices in mobile development.
- Optimize application performance, ensuring a smooth and responsive user experience.
- Debug, profile, and troubleshoot issues to ensure the stability and quality of the app.
- Participate in code reviews and technical discussions to ensure high-quality standards across the team.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in Android development.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience with Kotlin and Android SDKs.
- Familiarity with modern Android architectures like MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture.
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack components (e.g., Compose, Navigation, Live Data, Room, Hilt).
- Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party libraries.
- Strong understanding of multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization on mobile devices.
- Knowledge of design patterns, UI/UX principles, and Material Design guidelines.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and test-driven development (TDD) practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
