We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Support Engineer to join our IT Corporate Systems team and play a critical role in driving operational efficiency through advanced IT solutions.
This position requires a combination of strategic insight, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to resolving complex challenges, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and productive IT systems.
Responsibilities
- Foster relationships with cross-functional teams to understand their business processes and IT requirements
- Diagnose and troubleshoot network and software issues to minimize operational disruptions
- Resolve complex hardware, software, and networking challenges to maintain consistent service availability
- Identify opportunities for process improvement through IT solutions and automation
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement scalable IT systems and infrastructure
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in a Systems Engineer or similar role with demonstrated expertise in Google Workspace administration and engineering for enterprise environments
- Capability to plan, implement, and manage advanced Google Workspace configurations such as Context-Aware Access (CAA), Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and email authentication protocols like SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
- Proficiency in managing Google Workspace Advanced Device Management for platforms including ChromeOS, Android, and iOS
- Expertise in automating Google Workspace tasks via Google Workspace APIs and Google Apps Manager (GAM), including complex scripting for bulk operations and integrations
- Strong communication skills to clearly explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
Nice to have
- Background in cross-platform device management utilizing tools like Kandji, Intune, and Google Workspace device management for Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS
- Qualifications in deploying Google Meet hardware and managing unified communications solutions
- Familiarity with enterprise identity solutions like Okta, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Google Workspace for effective user access management
- Skills in automation and scripting, utilizing tools such as Python and PowerShell for advanced system integration
