Senior Project Manager (Analytics & BI)

Project description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a portfolio of Business Intelligence, Data, and AI projects. This role demands a proactive professional adept at managing multiple complex projects, identifying interdependencies, and mitigating bottlenecks.

To be successful in this role, the candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively bridge business needs & technical requirements.

The candidate should understand the basic concepts of dashboards, data analytics, and have experience with data management, data warehousing, or business intelligence projects.

Responsibilities

Oversee end-to-end project management of BI, Data, and AI projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and timely delivery.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams and project leads to monitor progress, manage resources, and resolve conflicts.

Utilize MSFT Project and other project management tools to manage schedules, budgets, and reporting.

Identify project interdependencies, highlight potential bottlenecks, and develop strategies to mitigate risks.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including technology, data engineering, and business units to ensure alignment and successful delivery of projects.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence, analytics, and data management.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance our data capabilities.

Skills

Must have

• Proven experience in tracking a portfolio of technical projects, ideally in Business Intelligence, Data, and AI.
• 3-5 years of experience working as a Project Manager in business intelligence, data and analytics projects.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Proficient in MSFT Projects and familiarity with agile methodologies.
• Strong organizational skills, with an ability to balance multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Good understanding of data management principles, data warehousing, and business intelligence concepts.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
