Data Privacy Expert

We're looking for a knowledgeable expert to join our client's team, focusing on data privacy and governance. This role is crucial in ensuring compliance with data regulation standards, particularly in light of recent changes in data privacy laws. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of technical expertise and soft skills to navigate complex regulations and work effectively within diverse teams.

Key Responsibilities

As a valued member of the team, you will take on a range of responsibilities including:

• Delivering data privacy and ethics services, including assessments of data privacy-related risks and generating comprehensive reports aligned with best practices.
• Proposing risk mitigation strategies, providing advisory services, and supporting the management of data subject rights requests.
• Developing governance frameworks ensuring data integrity and compliance, serving as a key point of contact for data quality and protection issues.
• Collaborating closely with business leaders to enhance core data assets and delivering governance support related to AI regulation requests.
  
  
  

Profile of the Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will have:

• A Master’s degree in Law, Engineering, or a related field, with significant knowledge of analytics encouraged.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in data privacy, compliance, or audit, with technical experience in tools like ARIS, Archer eGRC, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of data protection regulations and excellent analytical and reporting skills.
