- Support debugging and troubleshooting across firmware, hardware, and system-level issues
- Contribute to lifecycle management of firmware, including over-the-air (OTA) update support and version control
- Document Bisly products in the form of datasheets, user manuals and application notes
To succeed in this role, you'll
- 5+ years of experience in developing firmware for embedded devices (ARM Cortex-M or similar)
- Proven experience of developing firmware for wireless communication
- Familiarity with Rust, or strong interest and ability to adopt it rapidly
- Experience with modular architecture
- Proficient with git version control, familiar with CI/CD pipelines
- Good understanding of unit testing and test coverage
- Solid track record in low-power embedded system programming
- Experience with both RTOS and bare metal programming
- Fundamental understanding of electronics and hardware-software interaction
- Proficient with basic testing tools such as protocol analyzers, power profiling, oscilloscopes, DMMs, etc
- Strong interest in building automation
Bonus points for: Previous experience with building automation devices, IoT devices, mesh networks, firmware automated testing, hands on prototyping and soldering skills
