Nexus IT is a specialized recruitment agency connecting top talent with leading IT firms across the UK. We're currently hiring a Graduate Data Analyst on behalf of a forward-thinking technology consulting company.
This role is perfect for recent graduates who are eager to begin their career in data analysis. You’ll work closely with experienced analysts and project teams on real client engagements, contributing to impactful insights while developing your technical and analytical skills.
As a Graduate Data Analyst, you will:
- Collect, clean, and validate datasets
- Assist in building reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Excel
- Write basic SQL queries to extract and manipulate data
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns and trends
- Summarize insights in clear reports and visual presentations
- Document data sources, processes, and methodologies
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
We’re looking for a motivated graduate who is keen to grow into a data analyst role:
- Degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, Business, or a related field
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel for data analysis
- Basic knowledge of SQL or a strong interest in learning it
- Familiarity with visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
- Good communication skills, especially in presenting data insights
- Eagerness to learn and contribute in a collaborative environment
- Monthly stipend of €2000 - €2500
- Fully remote work, with a hybrid option
