The Opportunity

We are seeking a talented and driven Senior Backend Developer to join our team. This role is for a backend expert who thrives on technical autonomy and the challenge of scaling complex, distributed systems. You will drive the performance and functionality of our core data analysis platform, powering our SaaS solution and streaming APIs. Key Responsibilities

• Design and build robust, high-performance, and scalable backend systems.
• Design and develop efficient data processing pipelines to index and analyze massive datasets.
• Write clean, maintainable Python code using frameworks like FastAPI and Pydantic.
• Optimize system reliability and throughput for low-latency data delivery.
• Collaborate on new feature development and champion engineering best practices.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to the continuous improvement of our technology stack.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional backend development experience.
• Deep expertise in Python, FastAPI, and Pydantic.
• Experience with search engines, analytical databases, and big data processing.
• Proven ability in designing and deploying scalable, distributed systems.
• Eligible to work in the EU, no visa support or sponsoring available.

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to haves)

• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with the Go programming language (Golang).
• Experience with messaging systems such as NATS.
