Senior Python Engineer - FinTech - Fully Remote UK or EU - £85K + Benefits!

Overview

We have partnered with a well-funded FinTech client and are on the lookout for skilled Senior Python Engineers to help scale their platform across Europe. This is a unique opportunity to work with top brands in the UK and contribute to their growing presence throughout Europe!

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and manage various Python-based applications
• Collaborate closely with our CTO on technical design and architecture, applying your deep expertise to solve complex challenges
• Take shared ownership of our production environment, supporting and troubleshooting user and system issues when needed
• Oversee the migration of existing Django projects, leveraging your Python experience
• Lead in planning, discovery, implementation, testing (with a focus on automation), deployment, release, and support processes

Requirements

• Expert-level Python skills with 5+ years of hands-on experience
• In-depth experience with Django
• Familiarity with AWS (Bonus)
• Comfortable working across re-architecture and migrating microservices (Bonus)
