We’re looking for a Senior Fullstack Developer to help shape the future of price packaging for our Mobility offerings, impacting millions of users across our Marketplace brands. As part of our team, you’ll work on a cutting-edge event-driven platform to build innovative solutions that meet the dynamic marketplace demands.

Our Tech Stack 💻

At Vend we are transitioning the local brands, such as Blocket, DBA, and FINN, to the common Nordic tech stack called Aurora. As such, our team is moving from the current tech stack with backend services built in Golang and Python to a Java/Kotlin-based architecture running on Google Cloud. On the frontend, we leverage React, TypeScript, and Next.js. CI/CD pipelines via GitHub Actions ensure seamless deployments, while Datadog, Kibana/Grafana, and Amplitude support robust data analysis and logging.

The Coming Year Will Be Pivotal As We Balance The Transition Of Blocket’s Platform To Aurora With The Ongoing Evolution Of Mobility Services. This Dual Responsibility Requires Maintaining a Seamless User Experience While Introducing Innovative Pricing Solutions For Private Sellers. As a Fullstack Developer In Our Mobility Team, You’ll

• Build scalable backend services and enhance frontend experiences that directly impact millions of users
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of developers, designers, product managers, and analysts to create intuitive pricing models and packaging solutions
• Be part of strategic discussions, using your insights to align technical solutions with user needs and business goals
  
  

Who You Are

You’re a proactive, responsible developer with a knack for teamwork and a passion for sharing knowledge. You take pride in solving problems with precision and enjoy having a full-scope role where the team collectively owns the development process.

Additionally, You Have

• Preferably 5+ years of experience
• Strong skills in Java/Kotlin and solid knowledge of React and TypeScript
• A collaborative mindset, and you thrive on the exchange of knowledge and experiences with your colleagues
• The drive and initiative to take the lead in teamwork
• Curiosity and openness to experiment with data and AI to solve real-world problems
