The Finance Associate will support day-to-day accounting, reporting, and reconciliation activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable accounting standards (US GAAP, IFRS, IndAS). This role involves close collaboration with trading and operations teams and provides exposure across accounting, treasury, settlements, and financial reporting functions.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations and attestations to support trade operations and settlements.
• Manage accounting and financial reporting in compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, or IndAS standards.
• Assist in setting up processes, policies, procedures, and control frameworks for finance operations.
• Prepare financial statements and related disclosures for trading or broker-dealer operations.
• Collaborate with trading, operations, and external consultants to ensure accurate financial outcomes.
• Manage legal entities with respect to closing, audits, and statutory requirements.
• Build subject-matter expertise across accounting, reporting, and regulatory functions.
• Support multiple finance functions as needed, including accounting, treasury, settlements, and reporting.
• Maintain ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, or similar) and ensure accurate financial data management.
  
  

Qualifications & Experience

• Accounting graduate with a professional accounting certification (CA, CPA, or equivalent).
• 3-5 years of relevant experience in banking, broker-dealer, or trading environments.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP reporting standards.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, etc.) and financial instruments.
• Understanding of end-to-end trade flows, settlement, and market-making dynamics.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and financial analysis.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
• Interest in fintech, blockchain, and digital assets is a plus.
