Responsibilities
- Working collaboratively in cross-functional Scrum teams with Product, Analytics and Remediation colleagues, you will be responsible for leveraging the Group’s data assets to review risk issues and support end-to-end remediation of business customers
- Develop analytical solutions using SQL, Python and R to improve risk-based outcomes for stakeholders
- Undertake and automate data analytics across large datasets to identify customers requiring remediation and estimate financial impact to these customers
- You will deliver to deadlines by managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Develop data solutions to record remediation payment records
- Present analytical insights to stakeholders up to the General Manager level to give advice to our business partners with data
Required experience:
• Minimum 2+ years in Data Analytics or similar experience (e.g. actuary, pricing, or credit risk);
• Must have proven experience working with SQL to extract data from complex datasets;
• Extensive experience in using data driven analytics to develop dashboards, insights and recommendations.
• Ability to understand complex problems and take a structured approach using data-driven insights to solve;
• Experience with analytical tools and platforms such as R / Python and/or GitHub is preferred;
• Knowledge and experience in Banking (customers, products, systems, processes) is preferred;
• Experience with Agile tools and methodologies is preferred;
• Degree in relevant discipline (Actuarial, Statistics, Maths, Economics, Engineer
