Developer

We are looking for a skilled Front Arena Developer (m/w/d) with a passion for banking and payments technologies to join our client’s team in Zürich. In this role you will be developing Front ARENA Prime, a trading and position management application for banks and funds.

Your responsibilities:

• Gathering requirements, planning, implementing and testing solutions in a SAFe environment.
• Develop highly visible applications within Front Arena.
• Design and develop integrations with other trading and back office applications.
• Provide occasional support for other Front Arena developed applications.
• Analyse functional issues, log files, and existing scripts (Batch, Python, ASQL)

Your profile:

• BA/BS degree in CS or equivalent practical experience
• 10 years of experience with Front Arena projects
• Knowledge of Front Arena Architecture and components: Prime, APH, AMPH, TAPS
• Experience with ADS, AMB, AMBA, XMBA/TAB (Installation, Adjustment, Maintenance)
• Experience with scripting languages (batch, PowerShell, Python)
• Developer certification: ARENA Extension Framework (AEF) is a plus.
• High degree of flexibility, ability to adapt to fast changing environments and multitask
• A team-oriented and outgoing personality with excellent presentation skills
• Dedication to sound software architecture and clean code principles
• Strong business knowledge of Trading, Sales, and Financial Instruments is a plus
• Expertise in AEF/Python and ADFL extensions (e.g. Trading Manager columns) and customizations (e.g. interfaces)
• Overall knowledge in instruments (listed and OTC) and workflows (Front-to-Back)
• Fluent in English

Your perspective:

• Start: January / February 2025
• Duration: 12 months (with possibility/option of extension)
• Workload: 80-100%
• Location: ZH and HO. Remote working is possible for candidate based in Switzerland
