About the Opportunity

Our Client, an established Norwegian consultancy, seeks an experienced .NET Consultant to join their Oslo-based team. This role suits a consultant who thrives in client-facing environments, enjoys solving complex business problems with modern Microsoft technologies, and wants to see their work make a tangible impact.

What the Consultant Will Do

• Design, build, and maintain secure, scalable applications on .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API).
• Deliver cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure (e.g., App Service, Functions, Service Bus, Azure SQL/Cosmos DB).
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into pragmatic, maintainable solutions.
• Uphold engineering excellence—testing, code reviews, performance, and security best practices.
• Contribute to architecture decisions, advise clients, and mentor team members where appropriate.

Ideal Background

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with .NET in production environments.
• Proven exposure to Azure and cloud-first architectures (IaC, CI/CD is a plus).
• Strong consulting presence: requirements gathering, stakeholder communication, and delivery ownership.
• Comfortable working onsite in Oslo with client teams.
• Fluent Norwegian (written and spoken); English for international collaboration.

Nice to have: Frontend experience (React/Angular/Vue with TypeScript), domain-driven design, event-driven patterns, security-by-design, and familiarity with DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, Docker/Kubernetes, Terraform/Bicep).
