Job Summary
An excellent opportunity for a Data Scientist to work on Generative AI (Gen AI) and Machine Learning (ML) projects, for a reputed organization. This role involved working closely with stakeholders across departments to improve business processes and deliver impactful AI-driven outcomes.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or Data Science;
- Must have 3 years of experience in a Data Science role, preferably within AWS cloud environments;
- Able to translate technical concepts into business use cases and obtain buy-in from stakeholders for the AI/ML use cases;
- Experience in designing for GenAI models, including metrices and human-in-a-loop evaluation;
- Must have exposure in SQL, Python, and Spark, AWS;
- Must have experience in supervised and unsupervised ML techniques such as regression, clustering, and tree-based models;
- Deep understanding of feature engineering, hyperparameter tuning, and model evaluation methods;
- Hands-on experience implementing MLOps practices on AWS as well as AWS bedrock;
- Familiarity with data warehouses and big data tools such as Redshift, BigQuery, Snowflake, Hive, S3;
Desired Skill-set
- AWS certifications;
- Prior experience in financial services, telecommunications, or consulting industries.
Responsibilities
- Own AI/ML use cases from ideation to production, including continuous monitoring and enhancement;
- Serve as a Gen AI technical specialist within the Data Science team, designing and implementing models to support advisor sales journeys and operational efficiency;
- Collaborate cross-functionally with data engineers, analysts, product teams, and business stakeholders to design and deliver robust AI/ML solutions;
- Translate business problems into technical requirements through proactive stakeholder engagement;
- Maintain detailed documentation covering dataset preparation, modeling approach, performance metrics, and workflow processes;
- Ensure all AI/ML solutions comply with data privacy laws (e.g., PDPA) and AI governance policies;
- Promote innovation and continuous improvement across AI/ML models and processes.
