Junior DevOps Engineer – London (Hybrid)
🚀 About the role
An exciting opportunity for a motivated Junior DevOps / Cloud Engineer to join a dynamic technology team. This role offers the chance to work with modern tools and cloud infrastructure, supporting global platforms that connect millions of users daily.
You’ll gain hands-on experience in AWS, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD pipelines, while collaborating with experienced engineers and cross-functional teams.
📍 Location: Hybrid (3 days in the London office, 2 days remote)
👥 Reports to: Technology Manager
What you’ll do:
- Support and improve AWS-based cloud infrastructure (EC2, ECS, Aurora, Route 53, ACM).
- Learn and apply Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Pulumi).
- Assist with container deployment and management in Kubernetes (AWS EKS).
- Contribute to CI/CD automation using GitHub Actions.
- Help maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog).
- Gain experience with Ansible for configuration management.
- Collaborate with development and security teams on projects and best practices.
What you bring:
- Some experience (work, internships, or projects) in cloud or DevOps.
- Basic knowledge of AWS services and cloud concepts.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Pulumi, or similar IaC tools.
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes basics.
- Comfort with Linux systems and scripting (Bash, Python, etc.).
- Interest in CI/CD pipelines and observability tools.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
