What you'll contribute to

An exciting opportunity for a HR Coordinator to join our People & Culture Division in a permanent full-time role.

The People and Culture Division leads the execution of strategic people-focused initiatives across Toyota, fostering a safe and inclusive environment where employees can thrive and reach their full potential. It provides best practice consultancy, training, and development services to Toyota employees and OneToyota affiliates via a centralised HR shared services model. This includes comprehensive organisational development through professional training, HR advisory support in areas such as health and safety, compensation and benefits, employee relations, and talent acquisition -all enabled by the deployment of advanced technology platforms and systems.

As a HR Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting the HR Business Partners, ensuring the smooth coordination and administration of key HR activities. You will assist both managers and employees on a range of HR matters, enabling the business achieve its goals through effective people management

While this role is primarily located at our Altona North office, the successful candidate may occasionally be required to work from our Port Melbourne location as needed.

How you'll make an impact

  • Assist in implementing and maintaining established HR operational processes and procedures, including employee lifecycle documentation, reporting, and HR system updates, to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee the HR inbox, delivering prompt and accurate responses to employee and manager inquiries, and escalate complex matters when necessary.
  • Assist with HR reporting and analytics by managing data sources, generating reports, and supporting audit and compliance activities.
  • Coordinate HR-related training, communications, and resources for managers and employees to promote compliance and enhance engagement.
  • Deliver administrative and project support for various HR initiatives, including organisational design, safety reporting, and the rollout of policies.

Your attributes -If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!

  • Degree qualification or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum of 1-year cumulative HR experience in a similar role
  • Proven experience in HR, delivering effective administrative, services and solutions to support the business
  • Strong analytical skills with intermediate proficiency in Excel
  • Ability to analyse data effectively, work collaboratively within a team, and operate independently
