Quality Engineer - Manual QA

About the Position

We are UAB PLC Group, an international company specializing in car trading and digital vehicle history reporting. We operate large-scale international projects such as plc.auction – a global car auction platform, and checkcar.vin – a vehicle history report generation system.

We are currently looking for an experienced QA Engineer – Manual Testing Specialist to join our team. You will be responsible for testing web applications (Laravel, Vue.js, Next.js) and ensuring their quality across different environments. This is a great opportunity to work with modern technologies and contribute to innovative international projects.

Language Requirements

✅ Mandatory: Fluent in Russian and English (at least B2 level).

Responsibilities

1. Manual Testing and Quality Assurance

🔹 Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, exploratory, and cross-browser testing.

🔹 Create and execute detailed test cases, checklists, and test plans.

🔹 Log, track, and prioritize defects (Jira, TestRail, or similar tools).

🔹 Verify bug fixes and perform re-testing.

🔹 Conduct API testing using Postman or similar tools.

🔹 Validate integration of frontend and backend (Laravel + Vue.js/Next.js).

🔹 Prepare and manage test data.

2. Documentation & Reporting

🔹 Write clear bug reports, test documentation, and testing guidelines.

🔹 Maintain QA knowledge base and testing standards.

🔹 Provide detailed feedback to developers and product managers.

3. Collaboration and Process Improvement

🔹 Work closely with developers, designers, and product managers.

🔹 Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

🔹 Suggest improvements for QA processes and testing workflows.

🔹 Contribute to overall product quality strategy.

Requirements

✅ 1+ years of experience in software testing (manual QA).

✅ Solid understanding of web application architecture and client-server interaction.

✅ Hands-on experience with testing web applications (frontend + backend).

✅ Strong knowledge of test design techniques and defect management.

✅ Experience with bug-tracking systems (Jira, Trello, Redmine, etc.).

✅ Familiarity with test documentation (test cases, test plans, checklists).

✅ Experience in API testing (Postman, Swagger).

✅ Analytical mindset and attention to detail.

✅ Ability to work independently and in a team.

Nice to Have

✅ Familiarity with basic automation tools (Cypress, Playwright, Selenium).

✅ Knowledge of CI/CD principles and Dockerized environments.

✅ Experience testing large-scale international platforms.

✅ Understanding of accessibility and performance testing.

✅ Background in e-commerce, fintech, or automotive projects.
