IT Project Manager ( 3 months contract)
Role Overview
We are looking for an IT Security Project Manager to lead and coordinate several critical security improvement projects at Littelfuse. This role will be responsible for overseeing project planning, execution, and delivery, while working closely with internal teams and external security specialists. The focus is on reducing risks, ensuring compliance, and strengthening our overall IT security posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT security projects from initiation through completion.
- Define project requirements, scope, risks, impact, resources, and priorities.
- Work closely with internal IT, infrastructure, and security teams, as well as external consultants.
- Develop and track project plans, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
- Report project status, risks, and progress to stakeholders.
- Ensure documentation of security standards, configurations, and procedures.
1.IPv6 Configuration
- Manage IPv6 setup, including DHCP server and routing configuration.
- Implement Group Policy Objects (GPOs) to control/disable unmanaged IPv6.
- Priority: High | Impact: Low/Medium
2.Migration from NTLM Relay
- Enforce SMB message signing across all workstations.
- Implement LDAP signing on all LDAP servers.
- Enforce Kerberos authentication domain-wide.
- Disable NTLM protocol and legacy SMB versions (v1, v2).
- Enforce SMBv3 encryption across all endpoints.
- Define standard SMB signing configurations.
- Address Microsoft Windows NetBIOS Null Session vulnerabilities.
- Coordinate with external Infra Security Engineer to establish baseline server security configuration.
- Priority: High | Impact: High
3.Removal of IKE Aggressive Mode Support (External)
- Address legacy Cisco VPN concentrators primarily used by external consultants.
- Ensure transition to PA Security Access Browser (via SSL).
- Priority: Medium
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in IT Security Project Management.
- Strong understanding of network security, authentication protocols, and infrastructure hardening.
- Hands-on knowledge of IPv6, SMB, LDAP, Kerberos, VPN technologies.
- Experience coordinating with internal IT teams and external security engineers.
- Excellent project management skills: planning, risk assessment, and execution.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
