Lead DevOps

We are seeking an experienced Lead DevOps to lead our DevOps team of 6 engineers supporting 7 SaaS products across multi-tenant and single-instance deployments. This strategic role combines technical leadership, and infrastructure evolution while maintaining strict separation of duties through controlled production access.

Team Size: 6 DevOps Engineers

Products Supported: 7 SaaS Applications (Multi-tenant & Dedicated instances)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership & Management

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of 6 DevOps engineers
• Manage project prioritization and resource allocation across 7 SaaS products
• Foster a culture of security-first DevOps practices and continuous improvement
• Collaborate closely with Head of Engineering, Tech Leads, and Level 2 Support teams

Infrastructure & Technical Strategy

• Drive strategic evolution of AWS-based infrastructure architecture
• Oversee Kubernetes clusters management using Flux GitOps workflows
• Lead Infrastructure as Code initiatives using Terraform
• Design and implement scalable solutions for both multi-tenant and single-instance deployments
• Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization

Security Governance & Compliance

• Participate to SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISAE 3000 compliance frameworks
• Participate to security audit processes including coordination of penetration testing
• Establish and maintain security monitoring, incident response, and threat detection capabilities

Governance & Risk Management

• Implement robust change management and approval workflows
• Establish monitoring and alerting systems for proactive issue detection
• Create and maintain documentation for all processes and procedures

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Interface effectively with executive leadership on infrastructure strategy and security posture
• Provide technical guidance and support to product development teams
• Coordinate with Support Level 2 for escalations and production issues
• Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Technical Expertise

• 5+ years of DevOps/Infrastructure engineering experience
• 3+ years in a leadership or senior technical role
• Expert-level knowledge of AWS services (EC2, EKS, RDS, Lambda, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Strong experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Flux GitOps
• Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability tools

Security & Compliance

• Proven experience with SOC 1, SOC 2, and/or ISAE 3000 audit processes
• Knowledge of security frameworks, penetration testing coordination, and vulnerability management
• Understanding of compliance requirements for SaaS environments
• Experience with security tooling and automated security scanning

Leadership & Soft Skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop technical teams
• Strong project management skills with experience in prioritization and resource allocation
• Excellent communication skills for technical and business stakeholders
• Experience working in fast-paced SaaS environments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with multiple cloud providers and hybrid cloud architectures
• Background in enterprise SaaS security and compliance
• Knowledge of regulatory frameworks (GDPR, etc.)
• Experience with security incident response and forensics
