About this Role
The Artificial Intelligence and Data Analytics (AIDA) organisation is at the forefront of driving the Analytics and Data Ocean Services transformation for Vodafone. This role plays a pivotal part in transforming data into meaningful insights that enhance business performance and enable data-driven decision-making. The focus areas include validating IT Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) data from Local Markets, supporting strategic business decisions (such as insourcing, offshoring, transformation, mergers and acquisitions), and benchmarking against internal and external telecommunications operators.

You are a detail-oriented and analytical individual with a passion for transforming complex data into actionable insights. You are comfortable working with large datasets, have a collaborative mindset, and are committed to continuous learning and improvement. You are confident in handling confidential information and building trusted relationships across various levels of the organisation.
What you will do
- Validate TCO data submissions from Local Markets to ensure accuracy and completeness, and support the resolution of anomalies.
- Maintain and update TCO trackers with precision and efficiency.
- Deliver ad-hoc reports and analyses on TCO data, adhering to agreed timelines.
- Generate insights by identifying trends, distributions, and anomalies within existing datasets, and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
- Propose and implement improvements in tracking and reporting processes using Excel or other tools such as Power BI.
What skills you need
- Minimum 2 years of experience in data analysis, particularly with large datasets.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret data and produce clear, insightful reports.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across diverse teams.
- High level of discretion when working with confidential information.
- Adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn and grow.
- University degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in English (verbal and written).
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and familiarity with other reporting tools such as Power BI.
