About the Role
They are seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their experienced technical team and contribute to their platform—a powerful research tool with over 400 million documents and 4 billion connections across datasets like publications, grants, patents, and clinical trials.
In this role, the engineer will:
- Manage cloud infrastructure hosting production applications
- Deploy new releases and ensure system availability
- Collaborate closely with development teams on infrastructure, automation, and tooling
- Drive improvements in reliability, scalability, and performance
Key Responsibilities
- Write and debug Terraform configurations
- Administer Kubernetes clusters (AWS EKS)
- Architect and manage AWS infrastructure
- Design and enhance automation tools and processes
- Implement release pipelines and support production deployments
- Optimize system performance and reliability
What They’re Looking For
- Strong experience with Terraform (modules, state management)
- Hands-on AWS experience (EC2, S3, VPC, Route53, RDS, etc.)
- Expertise in AWS EKS cluster provisioning and management
- Helm Chart customization and best practices
- Familiarity with GitOps tools (Flux, ArgoCD)
- Knowledge of Grafana monitoring ecosystem
- Proficiency in Python
- Database experience (PostgreSQL, Apache Solr, MongoDB)
- Linux administration and shell scripting skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
Work Setup
