We are developing autonomous AI agents and a robust AI platform to support clinicians, researchers, and healthcare administrators in addressing some of the most complex challenges in medicine.

We are looking for a highly motivated and outstanding Senior Back-end Engineer with GenAI experience to help design and develop our AI agent platform. In this role, you will focus primarily on back-end systems and infrastructure while leveraging your understanding of generative AI (LLMs, agent frameworks) to enable cutting-edge healthcare applications.

What You’ll Do

• Architect, build, and maintain the core back-end infrastructure for our AI agent platform
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, orchestration logic, and integrations with external systems and tools
• Develop and manage databases (SQL/NoSQL) and implement event-driven architectures for real-time agent operations
• Work closely with AI/ML engineers to integrate LLM-driven capabilities (via APIs or open-source models) into the platform
• Ensure scalability, security, compliance, and high performance of back-end systems
• Implement observability, CI/CD pipelines, and containerised deployments (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure system reliability
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to best practices and technical standards

What We’re Looking For

• 6+ years of experience in back-end or software engineering, building production-grade systems
• Proven expertise in back-end development with Node.js/TypeScript and Python
• Hands-on experience with RESTful API design, SQL/NoSQL databases, and distributed systems
• Familiarity with LLMs and agent frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph, AutoGPT, Semantic Kernel) and how they integrate into back-end platforms
• Experience with vector databases (e.g., FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate) and retrieval pipelines
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with observability tools (Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, etc.)
• Bonus: background in healthcare systems (FHIR, EHRs) or working in regulated environments (HIPAA/GDPR)
• Strong communication, architectural thinking, and mentoring skills
