What are you going to do?
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and tools like Restdocs or Springdoc.
- Ensure API security, scalability, and high availability.
- Implement unit and integration tests to ensure API reliability and performance.
- Optimize API performance and troubleshoot production issues.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for API endpoints and usage.
- Work with containerization and deployment tools for smooth API delivery.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an API developer;
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring;
- Experience with asynchronous programming and performance tuning in Java;
- Knowledge of OAuth2, JWT, and other authentication/authorization standards;
- Deep understanding of RESTful API principles, HTTP methods, and best practices;
- Experience working with containerization(Docker, Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB);
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automated testing;
- Knowledge of API documentation tools like OpenAPI/Swagger.
- Experience with GraphQL or gRPC;
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and service orchestration;
- Familiarity with API platforms, such as KONG;
- Understanding of event-driven systems using Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar tools;
- Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Ansible).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking;
- Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in technical and cross-functional teams;
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities;
- Motivated to learn and embrace new technologies;
- Fluent in English (spoken and written) mandatory.
