Role: Cyber Incident Response Consultant
Salary: up to €100,000 package
Location: Utrecht, hybrid
Due to a strong influx in customer demand, this leader within the Security & Intelligence space are looking to bolster their Incident Response teams. We are looking for skilled Cyber Incident Response Consultants who want to work on high-impact projects whilst working alongside a team of experts.
The Role:
- Collect and preserve technical evidence from client environments
- Analyze evidence using forensic and log analysis tools
- Investigate breaches to assess impact (confidentiality, integrity, availability)
- Gather threat intelligence to support decision-making under pressure
- Advise clients on containment actions to limit impact
- Deploy and manage tools such as EDR, SIEM, and forensic platforms
- Support recovery of IT infrastructure during/after attacks
- Translate technical findings into clear takeaways for executives
Requirements:
- Endpoint, malware, network, cloud, or mobile forensics
- Evidence handling & preservation
- ICS/OT environments
- Enterprise security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, DLP, etc.)
- Windows/Linux administration, Active Directory, identity management
- Network infrastructure (routers, gateways, switches)
- Virtualization (VMWare, ESXi, etc.)
- Email infrastructure (Office 365, Exchange)
- Remote access technologies
- Industry Certifications are advantageous (GCFE, GCFA, EnCE, CFSR, CISSP, GREM, CCNA, MCFE, OSCP, Network+, Security)
Proficiency in spoken/written Dutch & English is essential for this role. You must also be legally authorised to work in the Netherlands.
