You will join an international team working on a payment system for a large chain of British supermarkets. The team will be responsible for implementing software based on the architecture prepared by the client for the terminal and server modules.
By joining us, you become a member of the Embedded Competence Center at Sii - an internal organizational unit bringing together more than 500 specialists across Poland! We are currently working on approximately 100 projects for 50 clients across various industries, including automotive, IoT, telecommunications, and medical. We focus on development and knowledge exchange by organizing Embedded Academies, training, technical mentoring or enabling project changes.

By joining us, you become a member of the Embedded Competence Center at Sii - an internal organizational unit bringing together more than 500 specialists across Poland! We are currently working on approximately 100 projects for 50 clients across various industries, including automotive, IoT, telecommunications, and medical. We focus on development and knowledge exchange by organizing Embedded Academies, training, technical mentoring or enabling project changes.
Your tasks
- Developing new software modules
- Maintaining the existing codebase and software module
- Creating and updating documentation
- Testing your code
- Deploying prepared solutions
- Attend to Scrum activities
- Proactively approach client problems
- Min. 5 years of experience in C/C++ development
- Min. 1 year of experience in Golang development
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases
- Knowledge of any version control system (especially Git)
- Fundamental Python skills applied to everyday tasks
- Basic Linux skills from a user perspective, including shell commands and file system navigation
- Fluency in English
- Fluent in Polish and residing in Poland required
- Experience in large-scale IT projects (e.g., microservices-based architectures, banking, or payment systems)
- Knowledge of Java, as well as containerization and automation tools such as Docker and Puppet
