We are now looking for a skilled Mobile Application Developer to join our remote team and take ownership of building mobile applications for restaurants, seamlessly integrated into our online ordering platform suite.

• Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications for iOS and Android using React Native.
• Create user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces for restaurant customers, including menu browsing, order customization, and secure checkout.
• Integrate the mobile apps with our core online ordering platform via APIs to ensure real-time synchronization of menus, orders, and payments.
• Work closely with the backend team to implement features such as real-time order tracking, push notifications, loyalty programs, and QR code ordering.
• Ensure app performance, responsiveness, and compatibility across various devices and operating systems.
• Collaborate with designers to translate UI/UX prototypes into functional mobile applications.
• Implement secure payment integrations and follow best practices for data privacy and compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.).
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging mobile technologies and propose improvements to enhance the product.

• Educational background in computer science, software engineering, mobile development, or a related field.
• Strong experience in React Native and mobile application development for both iOS and Android.
• Solid understanding of JavaScript/TypeScript and React Native libraries.
• Proven experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Experience with secure payment system integrations and best practices for mobile security.
• Familiarity with state management tools such as Redux or Context API.
• Knowledge of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
• Experience with app store deployment (Apple App Store & Google Play Store).
• Strong debugging and optimization skills.
• Proficiency in English.
• Availability to respond to emergencies during Canadian business hours despite time zone differences.

• A portfolio or published apps demonstrating your React Native expertise.
• Proficiency in French.
• Experience with real-time ordering systems or the food service industry.
• Knowledge of Firebase, AWS Amplify, or other mobile backend services.
• Familiarity with AI-driven personalization features for mobile applications.
