About the Team: The Growth / Acquire team is responsible for the very first step of the customer journey. Our mission is to bring as many qualified registrations as possible to our product, whether through our mobile apps or the web.
We own two critical areas of the business:
- Receiver / Payout journey: managing the payout experience in the money transfer process.
- Refer-a-Friend: a program directly impacting business growth.
The team currently consists of 9 members: an Engineering Manager, a Product Manager, and 7 engineers across backend, QA, iOS, Android, and frontend.
The Role: We are looking for a Junior Mobile Engineer – iOS to join our team and contribute to building features that shape the receiver journey and drive customer growth. This role is an excellent opportunity for someone eager to learn, grow their skills, and make visible contributions to a product used by thousands of customers.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver features from the team’s roadmap, with guidance from senior engineers.
- Support in bug fixing and resolving regression issues.
- Write unit tests during feature development to ensure code quality.
- Contribute to feature refinement and documentation sessions.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders across teams including Engage, Payments, and Marketing.
Must-haves:
- Familiarity with Swift, iOS SDK, Xcode, and SwiftUI.
- Basic understanding of Git.
- Strong communication skills in English.
- Motivation to grow, adapt, and contribute in a collaborative team environment.
- Knowledge of MVVM architecture and dependency injection.
- Basic experience with unit testing (XCTest).
- Familiarity with RxSwift and/or Combine.
- Understanding of HTTP/API concepts.
- Experience with UIKit, App Store Connect, and TestFlight.
- Curious and eager to learn.
- Proactive and able to find solutions independently.
- Collaborative and open to feedback.
- User-focused, with empathy for creating seamless experiences.
- Resilient, humble, and growth-oriented.
- Competitive Salary: Starting from €2500 - €3750 (gross) per month, depending on experience
- Annual Leave: 20 Days
