Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage Linux-based on-premise infrastructure (bare-metal & virtualized).

• Operate and optimize Kubernetes clusters and Helm-based application deployments.

• Administer and extend GitLab(self hosted) CI/CD infrastructure used across teams.

• Manage configuration automation using Salt, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Own traffic management and routing logic using CDN, Envoy, ingress controllers, and load balancing.

• Maintain internal observability platform (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK).

• Manage storage and caching infrastructure (S3-compatible object storage, Varnish.)

• Implement DNS and service discovery solutions with CoreDNS.

• Monitor system health, investigate incidents, and implement long-term reliability solutions.

• Collaborate closely with development teams to support platform integrations and deployment workflows.

• Implement and manage secrets management workflows using HashiCorp Vault.

Required Qualifications:

• Fluency in English is essential for documentation and cross-team communication.

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering roles.

• Strong knowledge of Linux system administration in production environments.

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Helm in on-premise setups.

• Proven experience in automating infrastructure with tools like Salt, Terraform, and Ansible.

• Familiarity with CI/CD toolchains (especially GitLab CI).

• Strong understanding of networking, DNS, traffic routing, and load balancing.

• Experience with observability platforms and incident response.

• Effective collaboration and communication skills in cross-functional engineering teams.

• Secrets Management: HashiCorp Vault.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience operating CDN and edge-cache solutions.

• Familiarity with object storage systems and caching strategies.

• Knowledge of Envoy or other modern service proxies.

• Experience implementing and operating HashiCorp Vault.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.

• Exposure to high-availability systems and disaster recovery planning.
