Sysmex Turkey is seeking a Life Science Product Manager who will be responsible for managing our Life Science product portfolio while actively supporting the sales processes. This role covers market development, product positioning, preparation of scientific content and training, providing technical/strategic support to the sales team, and playing an active role in implementing regional strategies.
The position is not limited to marketing activities only; it also includes contributing to sales targets, strengthening customer and distributor relations, organizing end-user trainings, managing product launches, overseeing regulatory processes, and developing regional collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement marketing strategies for the Life Science product group and create a regional roadmap
- Participate in product launches organized by Sysmex Europe and 3rd party manufacturers, and plan related regional actions
- Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities and growth areas, and analyse competition and market conditions
- Prepare and manage the annual plan and budget of the LS Business Unit
- Prepare necessary documents after product launches and adapt them to local needs
- Support the sales team with technical knowledge, demos, documentation, and customer visits
- Contribute to sales proposal processes (technical documentation, product specifications, pricing support)
- Organize application trainings (end-user trainings) to improve user experience
- Build and maintain relationships with KOLs (Key Opinion Leaders), academic institutions, and associations to establish a scientific network
- Collaborate with distributors and support business development processes, including identifying potential new distributors
- Coordinate with regulatory and SCM teams to manage necessary registration and documentation processes (UTS registration, SAP product codes, etc.)
- Increase LS awareness by preparing digital marketing content
- Organize conferences, symposia, congresses, and customer events while representing Sysmex
- Monitor product performance and customer feedback, providing recommendations for improvement
- Contribute to the initiation and management of scientific studies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Biology, Pathology, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field (Master’s degree or MBA preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Life Science or molecular diagnostics
- Experience in Genetics (mandatory); experience in Pathology is an advantage
- Experience in marketing and/or product management, preferably with active involvement in sales processes
- Experience in end-user/application trainings or willingness to develop in this area
- Experience in organizing scientific events, congresses, or symposia is an advantage
- Strong communication, presentation, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Advanced level of English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and similar systems
- No travel restrictions for domestic and international travel
- Active driver’s license
