Location: Istanbul (Head Office), Izmir / Ankara / Antalya (Regions) - Hybrid

Your Profile & Responsibilities

• Expertise level will be determined based on the candidate as new grad, junior, mid, senior
• Part time option is available for PhD or master’s students
• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university is a preferred and PhD or master’s degree is a plus.

Statistics & Data Science Expertise

• Passion for statistics and a strong statistical mindset
• Utilize statistical techniques to analyze business problems and develop solutions
• Build data science models for the insurance sector, leveraging statistical methods, predictive analytics, anomaly detection, clustering, and optimization

Business & Decision-Making Support

• Collaborate with business and IT units to develop analytical solutions that enhance decision-making
• Actively communicate with business units to identify potential project opportunities
• Align data-driven projects with company OKRs and strategic vision
• Eager to learn from the data analytics team while actively sharing insights and expertise

Analytical Infrastructure & Operations

• Work with KNIME, SQL, Python, WTW Emblem/Radar, and similar tools
• Supervise and maintain the analytics data warehouse environment
• Oversee deployed analytics models and ensure their reliability
• Document solutions and processes for future reference
• Contribute to the productization of data science solutions

AI Research & Innovation in Insurance

• Conduct AI research, implement contemporary innovations, and adapt them for insurance applications
• Leverage Generative AI / LLM for insurance business cases
• Contribute to IT coding practice transformations using Generative AI / LLM
• Explore and utilize big data environments, languages, and tools (e.g., Cloudera, Spark, Hive, Impala) to develop solutions tailored for insurance
