About The Role
We’re hiring a Senior Software Engineer for our Abu Dhabi banking team. Your role will focus on building reliable backend systems to support the Bank’s Digital Transformation programmes.
Technical skills:
Required:
- To be an expert in JVM (Java or Kotlin), and the Spring ecosystem
- Experience with relational databases + SQL, familiarity with ORM frameworks
- Knowledge of messaging platforms like Kafka
- Designing and building scalable microservices
- Usage of observability tools
- Practical experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
- NoSQL databases
- Kubernetes and Helm
- Experiences with AWS cloud services
- Spring Cloud framework
- Fintech or banking domain background
- 5+ years of software development experience
- Experience working in agile development environments
- Excellent communication skills in English
