Job Description:

Responsibilities:

• Develop Solutions, test and implement
• React on escalated (L3) complex IT-Incidents and problems...and resolve them.
• Define and execute a short- and long-term approach for the infrastructure assigned to you.
• Optimize the management of infrastructure and applications using that Infrastructure.
• Look for structural improvements to guarantee and improve performance, Stability and availability
• Execute testing of systems Continuity
• Develop, Test and Implement monitoring tools and processes based on instructions
• Work together closely with other local and global Technology teams to guarantee a strong collaboration
• Keep up to speed with new technologies by attending seminars and develop close relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
• Be a source of information for users and co-workers, and be responsible for overall satisfaction
• Write up procedures for end-users and co-workers, and keep these up to date
• You are stress-resistant
• You are prepared to travel occasionally.

Qualifications:

• Minimum a bachelor's degree computer science or equal by relevant experience.
• 5 years of relevant experience as a Sr. Network Engineer
• Strong focus on results and service...you are a true professional.
• Team-player with strong communication skills.
• Structured, project driven, decisive and conscientious
• Knowledge of Logistics is an important plus...as is experience in a multinational matrix environment
• Preferably a somewhat broader IT knowledge of Clients, Servers and Storage.
• You fluently speak English and Dutch
• Prepared to occasionally work during weekends if needed
• Prepared to work in an on-call regime to offer operational support outside regular working windows
• Prepared to travel occasionally (UK / Europe)
• Network infrastructure design, Project coordination and Implementations:
• Develop, test & implement Network solutions and processes.
• Professional technical knowledge: LAN, WAN, WLAN, Cisco, data-cabling, TCP/IP, security, firewall and VPN
• Network diagnostic, monitoring and analysis tools are not unknown to you
• Experience in a DevNetOps is a bonus...as is experience in SAFe Agile
• Certifications or the equivalent knowledge:
• CCNP Enterprise
• ENWLSI
