Are you ready to turn complex data challenges into real-world impact? We are a leading international consultancy with a strong presence in Norway, and we’re looking for an ambitious Data Engineer to join our Oslo team.
About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you’ll play a key role in designing and delivering innovative solutions for some of Norway’s most exciting organisations across finance, energy, healthcare, and the public sector. You’ll work in agile, cross-functional teams where your ideas matter, and your expertise directly contributes to shaping data-driven strategies.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Building and optimising scalable data pipelines and modern data platforms.
- Designing data models and transformation workflows to enable advanced analytics and AI/ML use cases.
- Implementing best practices for data governance, security, and quality.
- Collaborating with consultants, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-value solutions.
- Staying curious and experimenting with new technologies to bring fresh ideas into projects.
What We’re Looking For
- A degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience as a Data Engineer or in a similar data-focused role.
- Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with Spark, Scala, or Java is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Hands-on experience with modern tools such as Databricks, Airflow, dbt, or Kafka.
- A collaborative mindset with excellent communication skills (English required; Norwegian is an advantage).
- Passion for problem-solving and continuous improvement.
