Job Overview
Medius is seeking a Project Manager/Application Consultant to join our Professional Services team. In this role, you will lead customer onboarding projects for our spend management suite across multiple markets. You will be responsible for guiding customers through the full implementation lifecycle—solution design, deployment, UAT, go-live, and hyper care. This position combines both project management and application consulting responsibilities, offering the opportunity to specialize over time based on your skills and interests.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Lead and manage customer implementation projects, ensuring delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Develop project plans, allocate resources, track milestones, and manage budgets.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions, both onsite and remotely.
- Configure Medius solutions to meet customer requirements, aligned with best practices.
- Support customers during testing, go-live, and post-implementation hyper care.
- Analyze customers’ current S2P/P2P processes and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Drive process optimization initiatives for customers.
- Document solution specifications and manage change requests.
- Provide regular reporting and updates to project stakeholders.
Required:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Business-minded, results-driven, and able to manage multiple parallel tasks.
- Fluency in Norwegian (spoken & written) and English (spoken & written).
- General IT systems knowledge.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for client engagements.
- Previous project management experience, ideally in IT or SaaS.
- Hands-on experience implementing software solutions, particularly cloud-based/SaaS.
- Knowledge or experience in Spend Management (S2P/P2P).
- Prior consulting experience.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics AX/Finance & Operations, Dynamics NAV/Business Central, SAP, or Infor M3.
