Control System Service Engineer

Our Grid Integration Service team is looking for an experienced Control System Service Engineer to work with us on our HVDC and Power Electronics installed base in Norway! We are offering a position where you will be working on complex and critical system installations, supporting our customers with both emergency- and lifecycle support, remotely and onsite.

The opportunity

In this position, you will be working closely with our customers on their critical infrastructure systems, both onshore and offshore. You will primarily focus on the control and protection part of our HVDC and Power Electronics systems, and through our organizational setup you will also work closely with the overall system technical expertise, as well as key product specialists.

How You'll Make An Impact

• Troubleshooting, engineering, testing, commissioning.
• Identification and implementation of technical solutions.
• Performing preventive and corrective services on-site.
• Being part of our mobilization duty team, involving short-notice deployments.
• Identify improvements and plan long-term with our customers.
• Working both with our tender and execution teams.
• Develop and promote our service portfolio.
  
  

Your background

• IT / Data / Network engineering.
• HVDC control and protection systems, or similar domains.
• Industrial Control and Protection system.
• Substation automation or process automation, like ABB x800 and Siemens Simatic.
• Data communication, network technology, SCADA / HMI system solutions.
