Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled IT Infrastructure & Network Engineer with 2–3 years of hands-on experience in managing and maintaining IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimization, ensuring the security and reliability of our IT operations. Experience or exposure to AWS and CI/CD practices is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Server Management:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining server hardware and software.
• Monitoring server performance, security, and resource utilization.
• Implementing patches and updates to ensure server stability.

Network Administration:

• Setting up and maintaining network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Managing network security, access control, and network protocols.
• Troubleshooting network connectivity (Wi-Fi/VPN) issues.

User Management:

• Creating and managing domain user accounts.
• Assisting users with account setup, password resets, and access-related issues.

Data Backup and Recovery:

• Maintain data backup for servers, especially for the Domain controller.
• Assisted and educated users about system backup.

Security Management:

• Monitor the server logs and endpoint logs to conduct security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Endpoint should be installed on all client/user systems and Servers.

Software Installation and Updates:

• Installing, updating, and configuring software applications on workstations and servers.
• Ensuring software licenses are compliant.

Hardware Maintenance:

• Managing hardware inventory, repairs, and replacements.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing hardware issues.

Help Desk Support:

• Providing technical assistance to end users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Logging and tracking support requests (You track).

Documentation:

• Creating and maintaining documentation for IT systems, processes, user laptop inventory, and configurations(firewall/network).
• Maintain a data manual that can be helpful in ensuring that non-IT personnel can perform essential tasks in case an IT engineer is not available. The data manual can have basic tasks such as:
• Router/Network Equipment Restart
• Internet Connectivity Test
• Computer Restart/Shutdown

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in IT infrastructure, network, and system administration.
• Solid understanding of server and networking technologies.
• Proficient in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Familiarity with cloud services (especially AWS) and automation practices (e.g., CI/CD pipelines) is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage tasks independently and respond to priorities efficiently.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with developers, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) for task automation.
• Experience managing enterprise-level firewalls (e.g., Sophos, FortiGate, or similar).
• I am familiar with Microsoft 365, including Outlook as an email client.
• Basic proficiency in Linux system administration.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server 2022 and Windows 11.
