What is the role?

We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a frontend focus, experienced in building intuitive, AI-powered user interfaces using ReactJS, while also being comfortable contributing to scalable NodeJS backend services. The ideal candidate has 5–8 years of experience, has operated in early-stage (0–1) startup environments, and is eager to lead frontend efforts, contribute to backend architecture, and help scale both product and team. This is a foundational engineering role, where you’ll shape the technical direction of our product and set the tone for engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll need to:

• Lead the development of ReactJS-based search and conversational interfaces, integrating AI and NLP for intelligent, dynamic user experiences.
• Define and evolve frontend architecture, component libraries, and performance strategies to support rapid iteration and scale.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to rapidly prototype and launch user-facing features.
• Establish frontend development standards, best practices, and mentoring processes to support a growing engineering team.
• Build and maintain NodeJS backend services, ensuring smooth data flow and clean integration between frontend and backend.
• Design and consume RESTful and GraphQL APIs, with attention to security and scalability.
• Own the full lifecycle of frontend development, from design through to deployment using modern CI/CD workflows and platforms like Vercel or AWS.
• Help mentor junior engineers, establish development best practices, and assist in scaling the engineering team.

• Functional/Technical Skills – Strong experience (5–8 years) in building and scaling web applications using ReactJS, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Deep understanding of frontend performance, responsive design, and UI accessibility.
• Experience integrating with RESTful and GraphQL APIs and working with backend engineers to define data contracts.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, frontend testing, and deployment platforms like Vercel, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with AI/NLP-powered features, chatbot interfaces, or conversational UI is a strong plus.
• Exposure to fullstack technologies (NodeJS, databases).
• Working knowledge of Svelt (frontend framework), can be an added advantage.
