Our client, a leading player in the engineering sector, is seeking a highly skilled Principal Engineer (C# and DevOps) to drive innovation in smart manufacturing and industrial automation. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping next-generation software systems in areas like Smart Factory and IoT.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and support of a globally distributed software ecosystem focused on cutting-edge industrial automation.
• Design, develop, and deploy innovative object-oriented software solutions using C# and .NET Core in an Agile Scrum environment.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust and scalable deployment workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Production, Service Managers, and Application Development Managers to align software solutions with business goals.
• Partner with the IT and embedded systems teams to identify and implement advanced software solutions in industrial contexts.
• Oversee system monitoring, performance tuning, and operations in collaboration with IT.
• Provide 2nd-level support, ensuring software reliability and stability across international platforms.

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in C#/.NET Core development in Manufacturing/Engineering industries.
• Strong experience with Docker for containerized applications.
• Experience with Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) framework.
• Proficient in debugging and troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Excellent analytical thinking, with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for clear collaboration and documentation.
