🚀 What You’ll Do

As the Head of DeFi Growth & Strategy, you will own Kaia’s DeFi initiatives end-to-end from strategy formulation to execution, KPI setting, and measurable results. This is a growth-focused leadership role that requires not only designing strategies but also directly managing performance metrics and ensuring that ecosystem goals are achieved.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Set and own DeFi growth KPIs: Define and track quantitative goals such as TVL, user adoption, and liquidity, and be directly accountable for achieving them.
• End-to-end strategy and execution: Develop DeFi strategies, translate them into actionable plans, and coordinate execution with BD, product, marketing, and engineering teams.
• Hands-on ownership: Actively lead initiatives, either through direct execution or by aligning internal and external teams to deliver measurable outcomes.
• Drive ecosystem growth: Attract, integrate, and scale DeFi protocols, liquidity providers, and institutional partners within the Kaia network.
• Partnerships and integrations: Negotiate high-value partnerships and oversee technical and business integrations required to achieve growth milestones.
• Performance management: Continuously monitor metrics, analyze performance gaps, and implement corrective measures to hit growth targets.
• Market insights and leadership: Stay ahead of DeFi trends, risks, and opportunities, and adapt strategies to keep Kaia competitive as a global DeFi hub.

📚Qualification

• 6+ years of relevant experience in blockchain, fintech, or financial services
• 3+ years of hands-on DeFi experience with measurable achievements (e.g., growing TVL, launching protocols, scaling liquidity)
• Demonstrated ability to set, manage, and deliver against aggressive KPIs
• Strong leadership and execution skills, capable of moving from strategy to operational details
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and partnerships across business, product, and technical teams
• Exceptional analytical, communication, and negotiation skills
• Entrepreneurial and outcome-driven mindset, thriving in fast-paced, global environments
