As a Fullstack Software Engineer II, you will work closely with cross-functional teams—including product, design, and data science—to develop and enhance systems that make healthcare more accessible, transparent, and affordable. You will contribute to critical workflows, from patient communication and login experiences to payment processes, ensuring seamless and efficient functionality. Accountabilities
- Design, develop, and deploy full-stack features that enhance patient affordability, transparency, and payment experience
- Maintain and improve core systems with high-quality, readable, testable, and maintainable code
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Contribute to squad-specific objectives, such as communication and login flows, patient app clarity, and payment workflows
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure robust and scalable software delivery
- Continuously identify opportunities to improve development processes, system performance, and user experience
- 2+ years of professional experience building and deploying full-stack production software
- Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks such as React, TypeScript, and Python/Django or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to tackle technical challenges independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to articulate technical concepts clearly
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams
- Passion for improving healthcare accessibility, affordability, and patient experience
- Growth mindset and eagerness to expand technical expertise and take on larger project responsibilities
- Competitive annual salary: $145,000-$161,625 USD
