Small businesses, such as community pharmacies and independent auto dealers, are the heart of the US economy. However, due to the rise of AI, A digital economy, private equity consolidation, and inflationary pressures, a massive operational gap is forming between these SMBs and larger enterprises / tech-forward industries. These larger companies employ full finance teams and leverage the latest finance software. Small businesses deserve the same resources.

About the Product:
The platform is transforming how SMBs manage finances. By combining automation, data intelligence, and embedded finance, they’re closing the gap between legacy spreadsheets and the sophisticated tools used by large enterprises.
Think: vertical SaaS + fintech infra + AI-powered insights, purpose-built for businesses like community pharmacies and auto dealers that are grinding it out daily without the tools they deserve.
Funding & ARR:
Achieved a $17 million Series A, 6 months after Seed funding. Achieved $7 million in ARR with a team of 10 people in 15 months.
About the Team:
The company is led by two founders from UC Berkeley, who have already had success with founding and investing into companies, who have built relationships with business owners from the ground up, earning their trust in a sector plagued by scepticism. Now, they’re partnered with influential trade associations across the country, to onboard their clients with the entities that will support them. They are operating in all 50 states (plus Puerto Rico), with concentration in states like Tennessee, Oklahoma, and Missouri.
The team is currently 10 people and operates in-person from a beautiful Flatiron-based office in NYC. They’re hands-on, ambitious, and customer obsessed. This is a team that doesn’t punch the clock, just like their customers don’t. deep product immersion is part of the culture, and they pride themselves on doing what it takes to deliver.

About the Role:
As a Fullstack Engineer, you’ll be responsible for shaping the financial backbone of American SMBs by building the systems that unlock financial data and intelligence, automate work-flows, and co-pilot their decisions. Your expertise won't just be used to build software. It will empower the tens of millions of hard-working SMB owners across America.
Responsibilities:
- Own and lead full-stack development across the lifecycle: architecture, coding, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and SMB customers to translate business challenges into robust technical solutions.
- Refine engineering tools, processes, and systems to scale productivity and improve quality.
- Play a key role in shaping the engineering culture and best practices.
- Contribute beyond engineering — we value builders who lean in on product, design, and business too.
Tech Stack:
- Frontend/Backend: JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Node.js, Express
- Infrastructure: AWS
- Other Tools: SQL, CI/CD pipelines, containerized microservices (Docker/Kubernetes a plus)
Your Experience:
- 2–15 years of experience as a Fullstack engineer with React & Node
- Strong foundation in CS (preferably from a top-tier school or equivalent experience).
- History of early-stage startup or founding engineer experience.
- Demonstrated experience shipping 0–1 products and architecting end-to-end solutions.
- SQL schema design and hands-on backend development are core strengths.
- Worked in environments with fast-paced iteration, ambiguity, and a deep customer focus.
- Passionate about the mission and long-term impact of empowering underserved business owners.
